Swagbucks Birthday Bash

Nope, not mine…not for another 5 months.  Swagbucks is turning 6!  🙂

I’ve written about Swagbucks before, and I’m sure a lot of you use it and get gift cards and other stuff, but if you don’t, you should.  I pay for most of my Christmas gifts by saving up my Amazon gift cards during the year and using them in December.  [okay, so that’s always the plan at least…sometimes I get myself stuff too 😉 ]

Swagbucks.com is celebrating their 6th birthday in major style. Not only are they giving away $600 each to 10 birthday winners, but they’re holding a HUGE 6-Team Challenge to commemorate the big day. In fact, if you participate in the Swagbucks Birthday Team Challenge on Tues, Feb 25th, you’re guaranteed to win bonus Swag Bucks! You must RSVP to join the birthday challenge here, and contribute at least 1 point to your team. Here are the different ways to earn points:

  • Surveys = 4 pts
  • Games, Tasks, & Activities = 3 pts
  • Special Offers = 2 pts
  • Search, SBTV (Watch) = 1 pt
  • Daily Poll, NOSO, Swag Codes = 1 pt

At the end of the day, the members of the 1st place team each get 50 SB. Don’t worry, the other teams also get bonus SB: 2nd place: 30 SB, 3rd: 25 SB, 4th: 20 SB, 5th: 15 SB, & 6th: 10 SB. In addition, the top 3 earners from EACH TEAM get 500 SB, 250 SB, & 100 SB respectively. (All bonuses will be paid by Mar 7th.) Now that’s what I call a party! But there’s more: when you join a team, you’ll have a chance to choose a birthday wish. As teams earn, each team’s birthday candle will appear on the cake. When all candles have appeared and been lit, Swagbucks will announce the winning birthday wish. If you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks yet to get free gift cards online, this is the BIGGEST earning day of the year and a great time to get started. Sign up here and RSVP to join the festivities. The party starts at 7am Eastern time, so get ready to celebrate and win BIG!

Q:  I’m on Team Pink.  What team are you on?

  1. I did Swagbucks a few years ago but never really understood it so I stopped. Perhaps this is a reason to get involved again.

Yeah, I don’t go crazy with it, but I just use it for my search engine and get some swagbucks that way; when I remember, I do the daily poll, and then occasionally do a survey or a special offer, like Netflix or Hulu free trials, stuff like that (but always read the details and remember to cancel if you don’t want something).

  2. Never heard of Swagbucks before. I am looking at it now. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
